A frantic search is underway for a mother and her two young daughters today after they went missing in Worcester six days ago.

Police are concerned for the welfare of two-year-old Ciarni, three-year-old Ciarra and their mother Lisa O’Brien, 38.

The family, from Warndon in Worcester, have not been seen since December 16 and it is unclear why they disappeared.

West Mercia Police have issued an urgent alert asking for information about their whereabouts.

PC Louise Fleming said: ‘We are becoming increasingly concerned for Lisa and the two girls and ask anyone who may have seen them to contact us.

‘We believe the three of them are still in the Worcester area but they could have travelled further afield.

‘Our priority is the safety of all three of them. Lisa if you see this please get in touch and let us know you and the children are safe.’
