Kyly Clarke and ex-boyfriend James Courtney are believed to have split earlier this month. 

But now there are hints that the pair have have rekindled their relationship, after fans noticed that the V8 supercars driver has left a number of flirty messages on the former model’s Instagram photos. 

On Tuesday, James, 40, left a particularly telling comment when he joked about Kyly’s ‘boots and gun’ under a photo of her at a worksite.

Meanwhile, on December 20, James indicated the pair were still friendly when he joked about a photo credit.

‘No picture credit,’ he wrote, adding a winking emoji, underneath a photo of Kyly posing by a wooden door.

The pair are said to have ended their romance in early December, a report in the Sunday Telegraph claimed at the time. 

The report quoted an alleged close friend of the pair who confirmed the break-up was due to the couple being unable to make a ‘long-distance’ arrangement work. 

Kyly is based in Sydney, while James is reportedly based in Queensland, and sources claimed the ever changing COVID-19 travel restrictions made things hard.

The pair first went public with their romance eight weeks ago, with the lovebirds’ making their debut as a couple at the Bathurst 1000 race in October. 

She first met James when she was 11 and he was 12. They briefly dated about 20 years ago, and only recently got back in contact via social media. 

Kyly’s new relationship comes after she confirmed her split from retired cricketer Michael Clarke in February, after seven years of marriage.
