Dwayne Johnson surprises a struggling single dad by buying all his kids’ Christmas presents

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson proved he was a true hero as he took care of a widowed father-of-two’s Christmas gifts for his children on Sunday.

The retired wrestler, 48, connected with the young father, named Jay Abel, during a virtual appearance on John Krasinski’s YouTube series, Some Good News

After Krasinksi learned that Abel was turning to eBay to sell some of his most beloved possessions to provide for his daughter Elisa, eight, and son AJ, 11, the Office favorite stepped in.

Abel told Krasinski, 41, how he wasn’t able to find a part-time job during the COVID-19 pandemic, with the A Quiet Place director calling him ‘superdad stuff.’

‘Your story is my favorite of the holiday season,’ the Jack Ryan actor said, before revealing to viewers how he attempted to purchase all of Abel’s items off of eBay.

However, upon viewing Krasinski’s newly-created accounts bidding on all his comic book memorabilia, Abel admitted to thinking the usernames were fraudulent.

In a written exchange between Krasinski and Abel, the single dad said he didn’t ‘feel comfortable with the sales’ and passed on Krasinski’s attempted purchases.

He continued: ‘You are what the holidays are all about. You embody the spirit. And I feel very confident I can speak for my friend John here in that, you know, the true measure of a man and true measure of a human being truly is always what’s in their heart.’
