The Block’s Luke and Jasmin celebrate daughter Lola’s fifth birthday

They were known on The Block for incorporating curves in their designs.

But since appearing on the renovation show and selling their home for $3,856,000 at auction in November, Luke and Jasmin have steered clear of life in the spotlight.

But on Monday, the couple shared a rare glimpse of their family life with their two children, Lola, five, and Sonny, one

Update: Since appearing on The Block and selling their home for $3,856,000 on the show’s finale, Luke, 35, and Jasmin, 36, have steered clear of life in the public eye. But on Monday, they shared a glimpse into their lives with their children Lola, five, and Sonny, one

Taking to Instagram, the carpenter and school teacher celebrated their daughter’s fifth birthday by sharing snippets of her special day.

The Perth couple, who met 17 years ago, uploaded a picture of themselves with their little girl at her birthday party.

‘On Sunday we celebrated Lola’s 5th birthday with a disco sparkles party at home,’ Jasmin captioned the post.

‘She had such a magical day surrounded by all the things she loves… her friends, family, dancing, glitter and lollies.

‘As I was setting up, she kept on saying over and over, “Oh my gosh, I just love it. I love it, mum. Is it three o’clock yet? Is my party starting yet?” Over and over. So much excitement and countdowns in the lead up!’

The mother of two went on to explain the party was extra special this year, ‘after having her mummy and daddy away for so long’.

Planning the event was also ‘tricky’ for the parents, who were in isolation because of the coronavirus pandemic.

‘It was a bit tricky planning this all while in home iso, so I was very happy to get lots of help from my creative mum and my equally creative sister who owns a balloon business @ohlalaballoonbar. As they say, “Many hands make light work,”‘ she said.
