RHOCH’s Dawn Ward is seen for the first time since being dragged into ‘Wagatha Christie’ war

She was named by Rebekah Vardy as part of a group with access to Coleen Rooney‘s private Instagram account in recent court documents from their libel case.

And Dawn Ward appeared unfazed by the recent drama as she stepped out with her husband Ashley, 50, for dinner in Cheshire on Sunday.

The Real Housewives Of Cheshire star, 47, cut a casual figure in a black Givenchy jumper and leather leggings as she held onto the retired footballer’s hand.

Dawn, who recently revealed she’s leaving RHOCH after 12 seasons to concentrate on projects with her family, flaunted her toned physique in the tight bottoms and a pair of black boots.

She wore her long blonde locks down, letting them cascade over her shoulders as she put on a determined expression and strutted out of the venue.

Also joining the couple for dinner were RHOC co-stars Nicole and Joe Sealey, who also appeared to be in good spirits as they left The Churchhill Tree Restaurant.

It comes as Rebekah Vardy named Dawn in her WAG war legal papers last month and recently hinted that she and Coleen Rooney could end their dispute soon.

In a new interview, the Dancing On Ice star, 38 – who was accused by her former friend, 34, of leaking false stories about her personal life to the media last year – insisted the new year could ‘potentially’ see the pair resolve their differences.

The wife of Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy has vehemently denied the accusations and is suing Wayne Rooney‘s spouse for damages for libel in a £1m High Court case.

On making amends with the former columnist, the I’m A Celebrity star said in this week’s edition of Hello! magazine: ‘The new year could potentially see a resolution between us. I’m pretty sure the public are sick of reading about it, too.’

Earlier this month, it was revealed that Rebekah Vardy had accused Coleen Rooney of sending a chilling message.

The TV star claimed Coleen wrote: ‘If you play games with me, I will play them harder’ and dragged two more celebrities into her ‘Wagatha Christie’ war, according to new court documents.

The extraordinary claims came as Rebekah’s legal team lodged a robust reply to Coleen’s defence, and launched a scathing attack on her online ‘investigation’.

Social media star Becky named glamour model Danielle Lloyd, 36, and Dawn as part of the group with access to her rival’s private Instagram account.

But she does not suggest that either Danielle, ex-wife of Spurs star Jamie O’Hara, and Dawn, married to former footballer Ashley, were behind the leaks.

She was instead claiming she has no idea who it was and hinting the leak might lie closer to home with an associate of Coleen or her husband, former Manchester United and England captain Wayne.

The mother-of-four also sent her former friend a WhatsApp message when Becky fell pregnant, saying ‘congratulations on your brilliant news. Hope it all goes well for you x’, it was alleged.

Rebekah’s lawyers insist the text as ‘obvious’ proof that Coleen knew she was having a baby when she told millions of Instagram followers in October 2019 that she believed she was leaking stories about her to The Sun.

This opened her up to ‘extreme abuse’, the legal papers say. Last month, Rebekah won the first round of their battle.

The court ruled the post ‘clearly identified’ Rebekah as being ‘guilty of the serious and consistent breach of trust’ – but minutes later Coleen hit back with a statement via her spokesman, saying she was ‘keen’ to hear what she has to say.

The ruling at the High Court related to the wording in the final sentence of the post, with the Liverpudlian claiming she simply referred to her nemesis’ Instagram account rather than the WAG herself.

But the judge said an ordinary reader would not take the word ‘account’ to ‘indicate that Coleen remains in doubt about who the wrongdoer was’. He also disagreed with her claim that using multiple ellipses in the final line diluted the meaning.

Coleen’s spokesman told MailOnline following the ruling: ‘Today’s ruling on the technical legal meaning of the post changes nothing. Coleen’s defence to this misguided action was filed last month.

‘It sets out clearly the facts of her case, which remain the same irrespective of any decision on the meaning. The key issues of the case remain the three stories from Coleen’s private Instagram account published by The Sun and Rebekah’s relationship with the newspaper, including its ‘Secret Wag’ column.

‘Coleen is pleased the judge has ordered that Rebekah must file her reply to the defence, on oath, by no later than December 8. After three years of stress and anxiety about the leaks from her private social media account, Coleen is keen to see progress made on the real issues, beginning with what Rebekah has to tell the court.’

The pair have until February 8 to reach a settlement over the disagreement, or must prepare for a five-day libel hearing next year.
