Pregnant Bindi Irwin cuddles up to husband Chandler Powell in loved-up photo

Bindi Irwin and new husband Chandler Powell will soon welcome their first child together.

And on Saturday, the 22-year-old Wildlife Warrior cuddled up to her American wakeboarder husband in a loved-up photo. 

Posting to Instagram, Bindi and Chandler looked happier than ever as they watched the sunrise from a balcony. 

‘You are my sunshine,’ she captioned the post. 

Bindi styled her long brunette tresses loose and went casual for the photo, wearing a simple grey T-shirt.  

Meanwhile Chandler, 24, was similarly dressed in a grey T-shirt as he wrapped his arms around his expectant wife. 

He commented on the photo writing: ‘I love you and our group hugs with baby girl.’ 

The young couple are set to welcome their first child – a daughter – in 2021, and last month Bindi shared ultrasound footage of her growing baby. 

‘Our beautiful daughter is the light of our lives. Beyond thankful that she chose us to be her parents. I can’t wait for her to be here next year,’ Bindi wrote on Instagram at the time.

In the accompanying video, Bindi was seen in an ultrasound room as the camera panned across to show her unborn child projected on the screen.

‘This is so exciting. Look at our daughter, she’s so beautiful,’ she gushed.

Chandler could then be heard in the background saying: ‘Wow, you can see her heartbeat there. Oh my goodness, she is beautiful and very active.’

The daughter of the late conservationist Steve ‘The Crocodile Hunter’ Irwin is about 25-weeks pregnant with her first child. 

Bindi revealed she was pregnant in August, when she uploaded a photo to Instagram of herself and Chandler holding a tiny version of the Australia Zoo uniform. 

‘Baby Wildlife Warrior due 2021. Chandler and I are proud to announce that we’re expecting,’ she wrote. 

The couple were married on March 25, in a makeshift ceremony at Australia Zoo just before the country went into COVID-19 lockdown.
