Rachael Finch shared an uplifting message for her Instagram fans on Friday, amid the coronavirus outbreak on Sydney’s northern beaches and possible travel restrictions.

The 32-year-old model posted a photo from her ‘last Gold Coast trip’ and encouraged her followers to ‘stay safe and positive’ during these uncertain times.

‘In times like these I remind myself that some things are completely out of my control, and that I shouldn’t worry about the things I can’t change,’ she wrote online.

Rachael sympathised with those who haven’t been able to travel overseas or interstate to see their families, revealing that she’s yet to meet her nephew.

‘It does suck however when most of us haven’t seen our families for months and months, especially those overseas. I miss my brother in America like crazy and I’m still yet to meet my little nephew,’ she penned.

Ending on a positive note, Rachael encouraged her fanbase to support one another.

‘But together we can do this. And if you walk past someone on the street tomorrow, please look up and give them a smile or say hello, it just might change their day,’ she said.

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian has ordered 270,000 residents from the Spit Bridge to Palm Beach to stay at home for at least three days, although there isn’t an official lockdown in place.

‘We don’t want to go down the mandatory path but we will if we have to,’ she said in a press briefing on Friday morning.

Tasmania has banned northern beaches residents, while Queensland and the Northern Territory have re-introduced hotel quarantine for people from that area.

Meanwhile, Western Australia is making all NSW residents self-isolate.

Victoria, South Australia and the ACT are asking arrivals from the northern beaches to get tested and self-isolate.
