Mariah Carey gets festive with her kids for ‘COVID-safe road trip’ in luxury Outdoorsy motor home

She’s the undisputed Queen of Christmas. 

And Mariah Carey got festive for a road trip on Thursday, when the songstress took her 9-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe in a festively decorated luxury Outdoorsy motor home.

In a video shared to her Instagram page, daughter Monroe announced, ‘COVID-safe road trip, let’s get festive!’ before dramatically giving the rental a Christmas theme. 

The All I Want For Christmas hitmaker documented the cross-country trip as she and her kids made their way from Los Angeles to Aspen, Colorado.

While adhering strictly to local and national COVID-19 guidelines, the excursion from Los Angeles to Aspen included multiple stops to check out some of the beauty America has to offer. 

Highlights included the first sight of snow and passing through Las Vegas, which seemed to make Monroe a little wistful.

‘Oh Vegas, how I’ve missed you,’ she said, causing mom Mariah to laugh.

Finally, the family arrived in Aspen for their traditional Christmas getaway.

Meanwhile, Mariah appears to have a knack for finding travel companies before they explode in popularity, with the superstar always seeming to know exactly where to go and how to get there.

The Precious actress was one of the first celebrities to embrace Airbnb when good friend Jeff Beacher was Entertainment Relations consultant for the company, and was among the first wave of A-listers to make the Dominican Republic a must-see travel destination.

Mariah has plenty of reasons to celebrate this Christmas.
