Rachel Riley gave her fans an update on life as a mum on Thursday as her little girl had her one year vaccinations.
The Countdown star shared a sweet snap of herself and daughter Maven, who turned one on December 15, after the milestone.
Sharing on Twitter, Rachel thanked scientists for ‘protecting her from diseases’ as she reflected on the importance of immunisations in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Rachel looked festive in her Elf sweater, red leggings and a cosy hat in the photo as she held onto her little girl’s hands.
Maven was dressed in an adorable tartan skirt and furry coat and a matching hat as the pair enjoyed a post-doctor walk in the London sunshine.
Rachel explained in her caption: ‘Mrs had her 1 year jabs this morning!’
‘I was so focussed on making sure she’d had Calpol and calming a few tears, it’s only just occurred to me the significance of protecting her from diseases that millions will have died from in the past. We’re so lucky! Thank you scientists ❤️’

Rachel looked every inch the doting mum as she twinned with her little girl in another sweet festive snap shared to Instagram on Thursday.
The mathematician, 34, who shares her child with husband Pasha Kovalev, radiated happiness as she and Maven rocked reindeer Christmas jumpers.
Rachel opted for a cream jumper with a funky reindeer on the front which boasted colourful pompoms coming off its antlers.
Little Maven also looked adorable in her complementary attire of a red jumper with smaller bright balls as well as a fluffy red nose for Rudolf.

The mother and daughter duo both appeared pleased with their festive tops as they posed for a snap, ahead of Save The Children’s Christmas Jumper Day.
The mother-of-one recently shared her hopes for her little one to be bilingual as husband Pasha talks to her ‘solely in Russian’.
Rachel said on Good Morning Britain: ‘She’s got teeth, she’s biting us, she’s all about chat chat chat!
‘Pasha is speaking to her solely in Russian and I’m speaking to her in English so we’re hoping she’ll be bilingual.’
The media personality sweetly added: ‘She’s so mobile, she’s crawling and can walk with one hand now.’
Rachel also shared that she will be teaching her daughter mathematics but joked: ‘At the moment, she can bash cups together!’
The adorable family have spent lockdown with the maths whizz’s Russian mother-in-law Galina, whose month-long visit to the UK was extended amid the pandemic.
Blonde beauty Rachel was previously married to Jamie Gilbert, whom she met while studying at Oxford university.
