From Byron Bay to LA: Inside the Hemsworth brothers’ multimillion-dollar property portfolio

They’re already Hollywood heavyweights, but the Hemsworth brothers have also built up an impressive family property portfolio.

Despite making Byron Bay their home, brothers Luke, Chris and Liam also own properties abroad in Los Angeles, according to a report by realestate.com.au on Thursday.

After buying his Byron Bay family home for $7million back in 2014, Chris, 37, transformed the sprawling property into a $20million compound.

In an interview with Australian Men’s Health in January 2019, the heartthrob admitted he only kept pursuing acting so he could pay off his parents’ mortgage.

‘One of the first things I wanted to do when I got any money was pay my parents’ house off. I’d asked Dad once when he thought he’d pay it off and he said, “Honestly, probably never,”‘ Chris told Men’s Health at the time.

‘I was like, “Do this for the house, think of reasons other than yourself.”‘
