The report, shared by Companies House on Tuesday, follows the aftermath of the actress’ firm Thatcher Promotions Limited being placed in voluntary liquidation in 2015.

According to the agency, Wallace’s company owed a total of £69,614 to the HMRC in unpaid corporation tax and VAT which liquidators have since been trying to regain.

A legal charge was later placed on the EastEnders star’s home to ensure she repaid the money, the Mirror reported.

She returned a total of £60,000, but much of this went to cover legal fees.

Wallace ended up with enough cash to pay back around £27,000 of the £69,614 owed to HMRC, it was said.

The liquidator’s report, published as Thatcher Promotions Limited was ‘fully wound up’, reportedly showed the actress had agreed to return the money at £1,000 per month.

However, she reportedly did not meet these instalments and ‘continued chasing was required.’

‘Therefore, to secure the debt, I instructed solicitors to place a charge upon her property,’ the report said.

Wallace, 49, who plays Kat Slater in BBC soap opera EastEnders, is listed as the director of Thatcher Promotions Limited on Companies House.

The report concluded: ‘There are no other matters outstanding and the affairs of the company have been fully wound up.’
