And on Wednesday, Carrie Bickmore looked every inch the doting mother as she bonded with her children, Oliver, Evie and Adelaide, in Byron Bay.

The Project host, 40, was overjoyed as she spent time with her three kids and her partner, Chris Walker, at a local park during their family holiday.

Carrie showed off her trim figure in a black minidress and wore comfortable brown sandals.

She completed the ensemble with a beige hat and wore dark sunglasses to protect herself from the sun.

During the outing, Carrie’s daughter Evie, five, rode a pink bike as her family walked nearby.

At one point, the Channel Ten news presenter was also spotted sitting on a swing set alongside Adelaide.

‘I don’t think life is ever perfectly in balance, that’s okay,’ she began.

‘I think we should aspire to have perfect lives – the joy is in the imperfection.’

‘Some days my home life takes more of my time and energy, so my work life takes a back seat; other weeks I have a crazy work schedule, so my house becomes a mess and we eat more takeaway,’ Carrie added.
