Kate Mara enjoys an energy jolt as she grabs iced coffee for two

She has been busy raising her daughter and working on her career.

But busy mom Kate Mara enjoyed a jolt of energy as she stepped out in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

The actress, 37, was spotted leaving a cafe armed with two iced coffees.

The coffee was likely for a friend or husband Jaime Bell, 34, who was not pictured with Kate at that particular moment.

Kate also left with a brown shopping bag slung over her arm.

The actress kept warm beneath a stylish denim jacket, grey T-shirt, and black sweats for added comfort.

The House Of Cards star concealed her eyes and face with a pair of sunglasses and protective mask.   

She strode forth in a pair of white Converse sneakers.

Kate is back on small screens as the star of the new Hulu drama series, A Teacher.

Speaking on The Ellen DeGeneres Show about the new role last week, Kate described her character Claire Wilson as ‘a teacher who has a very inappropriate and illegal relationship with her students, and the season sort of follows the consequences of those terrible choices.’

She said that due to the show’s racy nature she advised her parents Timothy and Kathleen Rooney ‘they’re going to have to fast forward through some things.’

‘They’ll say things like, “Yeah, we only had to fast forward four times tonight,” but that’s literally leaves probably 10 minutes left of the show – so yeah, it’s complicated for them.’

Mara was chatting with Ellen on a remote stream from a ‘really cool ranch house’ in New Mexico while her husband Jaime is on location there shooting the Western period piece Surrounded.

Mara and Bell initially met filming 2015’s Marvel film Fantastic Four, in which Kate played Sue Storm and Bell played Ben Grimm/ The Thing. They tied the knot in 2017.
