The Real Full Monty: ‘There’s so many obstacles in the way’: Ashley Banjo admits celebrities still haven’t learned their strip routine with just 24 hours to go until show
Ashley Banjo admitted this year’s crop of The Real Full Monty On Ice stars had not once practised their strip with just 24 hours to go before their show.
The Diversity star, 32, told how the group still had a lot more work to do before they took to the ice in a preview clip from Tuesday’s episode.
Fellow performer Linda Lusardi was also feeling the pressure as she said in the clip that the stars still didn’t know anything about their ‘reveal’ at the end of the show.

Speaking to his Diversity bandmate Perri Kiely, Ashley said: ‘I’m a little bit shell shocked to be honest, what a day. We’ve got 24 hours until we do this and we haven’t even really put the outfits on yet.’
He added: ‘There’s so many obstacles in the way.’
Perri replied: ‘We haven’t practised the strip yet.’
To which Ashley said: ‘I wasn’t going to say it that explicitly but you said it, we haven’t done the strip yet.’

Despite her worries, Linda told herself everything would be OK once she and her fellow contestants got on the ice.
She said: ‘It’ll all be alright on the night as they say.’
Elsewhere in the preview, Jake Quickenden gave his thoughts on how the team were progressing with their rehearsals.
He said: ‘It’s very hectic here right now, we’ve got a lot to do. We just haven’t got very long.

‘It’s going good everyone is slowly getting it, it’s coming together. We’ve just got a lot to do.’
Ashley added: ‘Today is crazy but we’re getting there, I’m feeling positive.’
The full female line-up of stars is Linda, 62, Shaughna Phillips, 27, Hayley Tamaddon, 43, Dame Jenni Murray, 70, Dr. Zoe Williams, 40, and Coleen Nolan, 55.
The male line-up features Ashley, Perri, 24, ex-rugby player Gareth Thomas, 46, Jake Quickenden, 32, Bob Champion, 72, Jamie Lomas, 45, and Chris Hughes, 27.

The stars taking part in the two-part specials on ITV show reveal all to the nation on Monday and Tuesday night.
The two 90-minute specials aim to demonstrate the importance of shedding body inhibitions and making checks in intimate areas to prevent cancer.
The Real Full Monty On Ice airs on Tuesday 15th December at 9pm on ITV.
