Sutton Foster is chic in plaid trench coat as she laughs it up on rainy New York City set of Younger with castmate Peter Hermann
A little rain seems to be no impediment to Sutton Foster or her costars.
On Monday, the 45-year-old actress and her castmate Peter Hermann were seen filming on a rainy New York City day for the upcoming season of the comedy-drama series Younger.
The costars appeared to be having a great time working as they joked around with their other production team members on the Gramercy Park-adjacent set.

Sutton could be seen wearing a large plaid overcoat on top of a beige dress and brown suede heeled boots.
She was also spotted with a small leather purse, ostensibly to carry her belongings with.
Her 53-year-old costar was spotted in a form-fitting black jacket, under which he wore a pair of grey pants and dark brown dress shoes.
Both of the cast members were spotted carrying large umbrellas in order to stay dry in the pouring rain.

The two were seen wearing face masks in order to reduce the chance of contracting COVID-19 on set; Sutton also wore a plastic face cover for extra protection.
Younger was created by Beverly Hills, 90210 head Darren Star and first premiered on TV Land in 2015; the show was based on the 2005 book of the same name, written by Pamela Redmond Satran.
The show is centered around Liza Miller, played by Sutton, a 40-year-old woman who is mistaken for a 20-something and her adventures in attempting to keep up her facade.
Also starring in the show are Debi Mazar, Nico Torotella, and Hilary Duff, among other cast members.

The show was renewed for its now-filming seventh season in the summer of 2019, which will make it the longest-running original series in TV Land’s history as a network.
The series has received mostly positive reviews since its inception, with many critics pointing towards its depiction of generational differences and for Sutton’s portrayal of Miller.
In May, it was reported that a spinoff centered on Hilary Duff’s character was in development; a network for the project has not been determined, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
