Jahkoy Palmer releases music video starring a Tammy Hembrow lookalike – as he sings about his ex-girlfriend’s ‘colours coming to light’
Tammy Hembrow confirmed her split from Canadian rapper Jahkoy Palmer almost one year ago.
And while the Instagram star has since moved on with Ironman Matt Poole, Jahkoy appears to still be focusing on the past.
Last week, the 25-year-old crooner raised eyebrows when he dropped a music video clip that heavily featured a Tammy Hembrow lookalike.

In the moody clip, a stony-faced Jahkoy is seen performing inside a shadowy living room.
Watching on from the sidelines was a blonde woman who, thanks to her perfectly-arched eyebrows and pouty lips, bore a striking resemblance to glamour model Tammy.
Dressed in funeral attire, the actress looked downcast as she stared at Jakhoy from behind her black veil.

The video was for his new break-up anthem Firefighter, which contains lyrics that appears to describe his ill-fated fling with mother-of-two Tammy.
‘So complicated, should be simple. In a city that I wasn’t made for. Still thinking ’bout you lately, the distance will never faze me,’ he sang, possibly referring to the fact that he and Tammy were based in different countries during their relationship.
Elsewhere, he appeared to reference the on-again-off-again nature of their rocky romance.

‘You thought I was a real one, Start a little something overnight. Couple months later your true colours came to light,’ he sang.
‘I got carried away, I carried on. Hit it one more time, I should’ve known to give it up,’ he continued.
The couple began dating in June 2019 but called it quits in October.

However, rumours swirled that the pair had rekindled their relationship just months later, after footage emerged showing Tammy and Jahkoy partying together on New Years Eve in Bali.
At the time, Jahkoy also fuelled rumours when he uploaded photos from inside Tammy’s villa.
This was the last time they were spotted together, and it is believed the couple split up for good after leaving Bali.
Elsewhere in his song, Jahkoy’s lyrics suggest he regrets breaking up with Tammy and still holds a candle for her to this day.
‘I wish there wasn’t love between us right now, making it so hard to put what we got down,’ he lamented.
‘Shouldn’t fight a fire when it’s burning me out.’
