The Bachelor: Snezana Wood debuts a glamorous post-lockdown look on TV

Former Bachelor star Snezana Wood debuted a glamorous new look while speaking about ‘parent shaming’ on Today Extra on Monday.

The 40-year-old unveiled a stunning post-lockdown makeover for the segment, which included newly blonde tresses and an impossibly smooth visage.

The Melbourne-based mother of three enhanced her natural beauty with a glossy makeup palette.

Snezana was on the morning show to speak about ‘parent shaming’ and how it affects new mothers.

‘Throughout my 15 years as a mother I have definitely experienced it,’ she said.

‘Every time you have a newborn you have so many people offering their advice or criticisms as to how you should be raising [him or her].’ 

Snezana revealed that her husband, Sam, was recently parent shamed for taking their young girls out on a windy day. 

‘It was a cold day,’ she said. ‘We live in Melbourne. If we are not going to take the kids when the weather isn’t perfect, you would never take the kids out!’

The reality star said there are many different motivations for parent shaming, including insecurity and jealousy, but noted that some people are only trying to help with well-intentioned suggestions. 

‘It might just be from a genuine place that what they are doing is a better way of parenting than your style,’ she said.

Snezana and Sam Wood, who met on The Bachelor in 2015, share two children: Willow and Charlie. 

Sam is also stepfather to his wife’s daughter from a previous marriage, Eve. 

Despite suffering though Melbourne’s lockdown earlier this year, Sam and Snezana appear to come out of it unscathed. 

Last week, Snezana posted a photo to Instagram of the pair drinking espresso martinis at the trendy Chin Chin restaurant, which recently reopened. 

She captioned it: ‘My Everything.’
