The past 12 months have been difficult for Nikki Webster following the end of her marriage to Matthew McMah last year.

And on Monday, the 33-year-old singer, who rose to fame following her performance in the 2000 Sydney Olympics, revealed she is ready to find love again – this time in the limelight.

‘Australia’s next Bachelorette, could you imagine?!’ she told Woman’s Day.

‘You know what? I could totally do that! One hundred per cent I’m there – how else do you meet men these days?

‘I’m not one of those people who says “I’m not doing [reality TV] again,” I love supporting the entertainment industry,’ she added.

If she was to appear on the show, the single mother-of-two would be following in the footsteps of fellow celebrity Sophie Monk, who put her hand up to be the Bachelorette back in 2017.

Back in January, Nikki announced she was bringing the hit American reality show Dance Moms to Australia.

But these plans have been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

She told Daily Mail Australia last week: ‘Dance Moms Australia is on hold because of Covid, obviously.

‘It’s one of those things were everything is placed on a back-burner and you have to ride of it,’ she said.
