‘Looks like he’s lost a bet’: Married At First Sight’s Sam Ball is ruthlessly sledged over his HUGE leg tattoos
Former Married At First Sight star Sam Ball sent social media into a tailspin this week over his latest tattoo.
While the 27-year-old has had the tattoo – a huge text design on both his legs – since October last year, his fans seem to have only just noticed it.
Many of his social media followers are baffled by the body art, with many saying they simply can’t work out what it says.

‘I’ve been trying to figure out for ages what the tatts on your legs say,’ one follower commented below a photo of Sam posted over the weekend.
‘Looks like he’s lost a bet,’ another fan wrote rather unkindly, while a third sniped: ‘This makes my other life decisions look great.’
A fourth added: ‘Not sure [what it says] but it looks like he’s drawn on his own legs with permanent marker.’

While many trolls were critical of the tattoo, it’s important to remember the body art may hold a special significance to Sam.
It could be a tribute to his cultural heritage, or in memory of somebody who has died. The design may also be unfinished.
Sam returned to social media several weeks ago, after a six-month digital detox during which he completed an Army selection course.

He couldn’t look more different these days compared to when he was an unlucky-in-love groom on Married At First Sight in 2019.
During that season, he was partnered with quirky bride Elizabeth Sobinoff.
Unfortunately, they shared zero chemistry, and he ended up cheating on her with another bride, Ines Basic.

But his affair with Ines ended in heartbreak after he dumped her and then skipped the cast reunion – making him the only participant to do so.
Sam retreated from the public eye in May, when he abruptly deleted his Instagram so he could ‘put 110 per cent’ of himself into ‘new opportunities’.
He flew under the radar in the months that followed, before eventually returning to Instagram on November 8 with a photo of himself looking very different.
Daily Mail Australia later revealed that Sam had joined the Army, was living in Canberra, and had graduated from the Kapooka Army Recruit Training program.
Sam received the Most Outstanding Soldier award upon graduating the course.
