Kim Kardashian showcases her signature curves in a backless Skims bodysuit

She expanded her fashion empire in 2019 with the launch of her shapewear brand Skims.

And Kim Kardashian continued to be her label’s best advocate as she highlighted her phenomenal figure in her dressing room with a backless Skims bodysuit in videos shared to her Instagram Stories on Monday.

The 40-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star also squeezed into a tasteful white dress to illustrate the importance of her her backless shapewear.

Kim’s bodysuit highlighted her cleavage and featured thin straps at the top.

It emphasized her hourglass figure and cut off mid-thigh, and she turned around to reveal its backless design. 

First, she tried on a two-piece set which revealed her lower back while still featuring straps for her top.

But a second one-piece bodysuit completely exposed her back, making it easy to slide into a backless dress without revealing her Skims.

Kim appeared to be wearing a beige item, dubbed Sienna, but she also had lighter and darker shades strewn on the floor to match different skin tones and outfits.

In a video shared to her Instagram page, the wife of Kanye West revealed the culmination of her look as she changed into a brilliant white backless dress.

She revealed the dress was one she had worn while promoting her KKW Beauty eyeshadow collaboration with makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic.

She explained she made the back on her new bodysuits extra low so as not to peak out above her dresses, while also revealing her previous solution to shapewear that went too high.

‘What I would do is I would take my shapewear, I cut the back really low, put double-sided tape around it and stick it to me, and then, so it wouldn’t move, I would take double-sided tape and stick that to the dress,’ she revealed.

Kim added that she wanted all of her Skims products to have solutions to problems she used to encounter with other shapewear brands.

Even as the reality star looked forward with her new designs, she also went on a nostalgia trip through some of her most eye-catching 2012 look with throwback photos from a marathon fitting.

At the time, Kim was filming her KUWTK spin-off series Kourtney And Kim Take Miami, in which she and her sister Kourtney Kardashian ran the Miami location of their now-defunct clothing boutique Dash.

The series originally starred Kourtney and her younger sister Khloé Kardashian in the first two seasons, but Kim took over for the third and final season when Khloé had other work commitments.

She gave special attention to an edgy Rick Owens design that featured a leather biker jacket top with ultra-wide lapels that was combined with a lustrous black skirt with a high slit and a thick black belt with a gold buckle.
