Rachel Bilson says co-parenting her daughter Briar, 6, with ex Hayden Christensen during the pandemic is ‘going well’ three years after their split
Rachel Bilson has given a rare insight into co-parenting with her former fiancé Hayden Christensen.
In a new interview, the actress, 39, who dated the screen star, also 39, from 2007 until 2017, revealed raising their six-year-old daughter Briar together has been ‘going well’ during the coronavirus pandemic, three years after their split.
The O.C. alum said: ‘It’s been going pretty well. It’s also nice because you’re stuck in the house [amid the pandemic]. So, for her to have another house to go to, I think that’s actually been helpful. So, all in all, it’s been good.’

The exes started dating in 2007 and got engaged in 2008, before calling it quits two years later.
The thespians rekindled their romance in late 2010 and separated in 2017, but have maintained an amicable relationship ever since their split.
Mother-of-one Rachel also shared that her mini-me is not aware of her father’s portrayal as Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader in Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith.
The Hart of Dixie actress added to US Weekly: ‘Luckily, she’s not aware that her dad is one of the biggest villains of all time.

In July, the Last Kiss star split from Barry’s Bill Hader following under a year of dating.
They went public with their relationship at the Golden Globe Awards back in January, after initially being linked while spending time together over the Christmas holiday.
Jumper star Rachel previously admitted she would never date anyone who isn’t fully invested in supporting her as a mother.
She said on Nick Viall’s The Viall Files podcast: ‘I was talking to these guys a few months back, anytime I would bring my daughter up, they would never pursue the question or ask more about her.
‘It was a red flag because anyone that you’re going to get involved with, if you have a kid, they have to be all about the kid.
‘I always put it out there. She’s my world and I talk about her all the time. How f***ed up would it be if I hid that?’
