The 36-year-old has revealed she hoped the latest addition to her family would tap into his musical abilities – and that he ‘might be a prodigy!’

Speaking to the Daily Telegraph on Sunday, the singer-songwriter said it was only natural ‘he’d try to join in’ being surrounded by music.

The cat has since been very active on Delta’s social media, with the songstress sharing multiple clips of him.

The most recent was one of the cat attempting to play notes on the piano in Delta’s home, which prompted her to question whether he could be part of the 2021 ARIA Awards.

‘Got home from ARIA rehersals last night to find my cat is a prodigy.. Next years #ARIAs Bean?’ she captioned the short clip she uploaded to her Instagram on November 24.
