Keri Hilson appears to be toying with her fans.

On Friday, the r’n’b singer got everyone talking after posting a picture of herself with a baby bump on social media – though fans were quick to point out just two weeks ago she showed off her flat stomach while modelling swimwear.

It appears that the ‘bump’ could be to do with a character that is playing in a new movie on Lifetime TV.

The crooner, who has been wed to Samuel Soba since 2002, has carved out a performing career for herself after breaking through as a songwriter for Britney Spears and Mary J Blige. 

The star looked relaxed as she posed in a fitted white T-shirt with a floral-print jacket on while at home.

In her caption she had two emojis with one being a smiley face with hearts all over it. She credited Swirl Films and Lifetime TV, and it appeared as if there was a crew in the background and she was filming something.

The Oxford College of Emory University graduate has an interesting background.
