Wandavision trailer shows Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany as time-shifting suburban superheroes

Classic sitcoms and superhero powers collide in the just released trailer for Disney+ series, Marvel’s WandaVision.

Paul Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen reprise their MCU characters Vision and Wanda Maximoff AKA Scarlet Witch in the show set after the events of Avengers: Endgame.

The two are living happy lives in suburbia, trying to conceal their powers and fit in with the neighborhood, until they start to realize something is not quite right.

Disney+ dropped a trailer for WandaVision on Thursday in which Paul Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen reprise their MCU characters Vision and Wanda Maximoff AKA Scarlet Witch

The trailer opens in black and white to the Monkees hit Daydream Believer and a typical ranch style home.

‘So what’s a single girl like you doing rattling around this big house?’ Kathryn Hahn’s Agnes asks Wanda.

‘Well I assure you I’m married… to a man, a human one,’ Wanda, dressed as a sitcom suburban housewife, replies as a laugh track kicks in.

The clip cuts to Vision looking like an android.

Then the two are seen in scenes of domestic bliss with Vision, now dressed in a suit and hat and carrying a briefcase, greeting his wife as he returns home from the office and Wanda trying her best to do housework.

‘We are an unusual couple,’ she observes.

‘Oh I don’t think that was ever in question,’ he responds.

The trailer then shows the black and white turning to color as the years move into the 1970s and Wanda remarks: ‘We just don’t know what to expect.’

The video then starts jumping and looking as it there’s trouble with transmission.

“I think there’s something wrong here,’ says Vision.

Then a voice is heard emitting from a transistor radio: ‘Wanda? Can you hear me? Who is doing this to you?’

There are then scenes of troops in military vehicles apparently in the present day as Agnes asks Wanda: ‘Are you here to help us?’
