Becky Miles blasts trolls who say she ‘looked 40’ on The Bachelorette 

Becky Miles is paying no attention to the Internet trolls who said she ‘looked 40’ on The Bachelorette earlier this year.

The defence contracting specialist, 30, brushed off her critics on Thursday while sharing a sponsored post for an anti-ageing collagen supplements company.

While she dismissed the hurtful comments about looking a decade older than her actual age, she did reveal she was trying to maintain her youthful appearance.

‘I was told that I looked 40 on The Bachelorette (thanks), not that there’s anything wrong with being 40, but no one wants to hear that they look older than they are,’ Becky wrote.

‘Regardless, as a 30 year old woman who’s noticeably ageing, I’ve realised that I need to be smart and to look after myself properly.

‘It’s all well and good to use an eye cream, but I don’t think that’d quite cut the mustard. So over the past few months I’ve gotten on the Collagen Beauty train by @nutraorganics to look after my locks, nails and skin from the inside out.’

The Newcastle native then shared a discount code her followers can get 15 per cent off their order from the collagen brand she was promoting.

Not only did Becky have to deal with unkind comments about her appearance on The Bachelorette, she also had to come to terms with a sudden post-show break-up.

She confirmed on November 6, the morning after season finale aired on TV, that her relationship with winning suitor Pete Mann had only lasted a matter of days.

Becky revealed that less than a week after filming wrapped, the Adelaide-based café owner told her over FaceTime that he didn’t see a future with her.

She was apparently ‘blindsided’ by the decision, as Pete had led her to believe he was ready for a long-term relationship.

Becky’s sister and fellow Bachelorette, Elly Miles, ended up splitting from her winner, Frazer Neate, a few months later.
