Instagram model Tammy Hembrow wins prestigious award for young entrepreneurs thanks to her success in the business world

Tammy Hembrow has won a young entrepreneurial award for her sexy selfies and vast array of businesses on the Gold Coast

The 26-year-old influencer was named the Young Entrepreneur of the Year by Business News Australia.

Tammy appeared pleased with the accolade as she thanked the business group for the award both in several posts on Instagram.

‘I wonnn,’ she wrote, sharing crying emojis and love hearts. 

She went on to say ‘big love’ to her Saski Collection and Tammy Hembrow Fitness teams. She also shared congratulations to her Instagram Stories. 

Tammy won a similar category in the awards back in 2018.

Tammy is believed to be worth nearly $2 million with her various pursuits, including endorsements, Saski Collection and TammyFit.

Speaking about her businesses back in January, Tammy said she launched them without investors and just her own hard work.

Speaking with her sisters Emilee and Amy on their podcast Hanging With The Hembrows, she said: ‘I have personally funded everything I’ve ever done.’

She explained that she didn’t have to spend too much money at the beginning of her first business, Tammy Hembrow Fitness.

‘When I was doing my workout programs, I didn’t have to spend pretty much any money because I made them all from scratch myself.’  

The mother-of-two said the only things she paid for was the website and for an artist to do illustrations demonstrating the exercises which was not expensive.

Tammy said that she used her profits from the fitness program to fund the start her athleisure range, Saski Collection.    

She revealed that her biggest investment so far has been her TammyFit app.

‘I wanted everything in this app to be absolutely perfect so I didn’t spare any cost, I didn’t cut any corners and I’m super proud of what we’ve done,’ she proudly said.

‘But yeah I funded everything myself,’ she added.   

In 2019, Tammy was awarded the Fashion Design Award at the Australian Young Entrepreneur Awards and ABA100 Winner for Marketing Excellence in The Australian Business awards.

She was named number 30 in Top Young Entrepreneurs last year.
