Ronan Keating, 43, reveals he is having a VASECTOMY after fathering five children

Ronan Keating has revealed he is getting a vasectomy after fathering five children.

The Boyzone singer, 43, admitted it was ‘time for the snip’ nine months after welcoming his fifth child, daughter Coco, with wife Storm, during an appearance on Thursday’s Good Morning Britain.

The Life Is A Rollercoaster hitmaker said wife Storm, 39, had been the instigator of the conversation, saying: ‘It’s a funny conversation because I was going about my day and Storm said “I think it’s probably about time you got the snip now” and I was like what?!

‘Storm said ‘it’s time” and I said, hmm I guess it is, yeah sure.

‘You know, five beautiful healthy children, I think it is time, I do.

As well as Coco, Ronan and Storm are parents to son Cooper, three.  

Ronan shares three other children with ex-wife Yvonne Connolly: daughters Missy, 19, and Ali, 15, and son Jack, 21.  

Earlier this year, after the birth of Coco in lockdown singer Ronan told Magic Radio that everyone is doing well, but it was a strange experience as the nation remains in lockdown amid the coronavirus pandemic. 

Calling his co-host Harriet Scott, the presenter said of the birth: ‘It was obviously very strange, because nobody could come into the hospital.

‘It was just Storm and myself and little Coco in lockdown in the hospital. The nurses were amazing, the staff were brilliant. But it was just so different, it was so quiet. 

‘Which was kind of nice in a way. We had all of that time just to ourselves. Cooper couldn’t come in, his other brothers and sisters couldn’t come. So it was a strange one. It was very different and lovely.’  

As his son Cooper interjected while Ronan called in from home, he said: ‘Coco came home on Sunday. It’s like Daddy Day Care. 

‘Like so many others, it’s all hands on deck. Look, it’s amazing. Mama’s doing great.. she’s (Coco’s) the tiniest little, beautiful little bundle. She’s gorgeous.’
