Natalie Cassidy sees the funny side after fiancé Marc Humphreys compares her to a decorative PLATE

‘He’s not wrong to be fair!’ Natalie Cassidy sees the funny side after fiancé Marc Humphreys spots her uncanny resemblance to a decorative PLATE during festive shopping spree

She’s never been one to blow her own trumpet, but even Natalie Cassidy had to admit she bore an uncanny resemblance to a decorative plate while shopping in London on Wednesday.

The actress, best known for her role as brass instrument playing Sonia Jackson in EastEnders, received the unflattering comparison from fiancé Marc Humphreys during a visit to sprawling department store Liberty London.

Taking to Instagram, Natalie, 37, revealed the freelance cameraman spotted a distinct likeness on one of the decoratively painted Les Ottomans plates displayed in store.

Uncanny: Natalie Cassidy admitted she bore a striking resemblance to the female image staring back at her from a decorative plate while shopping in London on Wednesday

And sharing an photo of herself standing beside the tableware – which bears the image of a young pre-20th century woman with rounded cherubic features – the actress admitted there was a definite similarity.

Captioning the snap, she wrote: ‘@camera_marc thought this was a lookylikey plate in @LibertyLondon. He thinks he’s hilarious. He’s not wrong to be fair.’

Marc had originally shared the photo with his own followers after unsuccessfully attempting to wind Natalie up with the comparison, telling followers: ‘Liberty London do personalised plates. Who knew.’
