MAFS’ Ines Basic and Ashley Irvin jet out of Sydney as filming wraps for all-star reunion special

Channel Nine wrapped filming for its upcoming Married At First Sight reunion special on Wednesday night. 

And on Thursday, a gaggle of the show’s most controversial stars descended upon Sydney Airport en route their respective hometowns. 

Leading the fray was season six ‘villain’ Ines Basic, 30, who looked well-rested after an intense 48 hours of filming. 

Ines gently smiled at onlookers as she carried her luggage towards the departures terminal ahead of her flight back to Queensland. 

The slender reality star looked typically stylish in a white cropped T-shirt, high-waisted slouchy jeans and a pair of white sneakers. 

She completed her look with a cross-body handbag, black tote bag and sunglasses which hung from her neckline.  

The cosmetic procedure-loving brunette wore minimal makeup and slicked her hair back into a low ponytail. 

Ines certainly had her hands full, carrying a coffee cup and a bottle of water while also juggling her plane ticket. 

Clutching a coffee cup in one hand and a bottle of water in the other, Ines looked like a woman on a mission as she approached the carried her belongings 

Ines was later seen relaxing in the departures lounge, before fellow Married At First Sight ‘bride’ Natasha Spencer miraculously appeared. 

Natasha, who was not invited to appear on the all-star reunion, chatted with Ines for some time before heading her separate way.  

The encounter was no doubt an awkward one, as Natasha only recently blasted the Married At First Sight reunion as ‘pathetic’. 

‘A MAFS reunion with people from all different seasons. Actually pathetic,’ Natasha wrote on Instagram.

‘Hyped up drama from a lot of people who say they want their image seperate from MAFS now they’ve “moved on”.’

She continued: ‘I genuinely couldn’t think of a more disingenuous thing to take part in.’ 

Elsewhere, season five star Ashley Irvin was spotted rushing to her Queensland-bound flight on Thursday morning.  

Ashley, who is an air hostess by trade, looked rather flustered as she dragged her black luggage through the tarmac ahead of takeoff. 

The bubbly blond showcased her curvaceous figure and trim waist in a cropped orange T-shirt and black trousers.  

Her look was completed with a pair of no-fuss Converse sneakers and a gold wrist watch. 

She wore her long blonde mane loose, and wore a dramatic makeup look consisting of peach-toned blush, eyebrow pencil and a pair of dramatic faux lashes.  

Also spotted arriving at Sydney Airport on Thursday was season five star Tracey Jewel. 

Tracey, who is pregnant with her second child, highlighted her blossoming bump in a white T-shirt emblazoned with the words ‘MAMA est. 2020’. 

Wheeling a blue suitcase towards the terminal, the Perth-based brunette completed her look with a navy blue pencil skirt, sneakers and a pendant necklace.    

Tracy looked to be in good spirits, beaming and sharing a joke with onlookers.  

Season six star Mike Gunner was also spied in the departures terminal at Sydney Airport on Thursday waiting for a flight back home to Queensland. 

Dressed in a blue-and-white skivvy and skinny jeans, Mike appeared rather confused as he stood inside the bustling terminal with both hands in his pockets. 

He completed his look with a pair of dark black spectacles and a cross-body satchel.  

The Married At First Sight all-stars special is set to air on Nine in early 2021, before the start of the eighth season. 

Unsurprisingly, there were plenty of fireworks during filming, with Nasser Sultan dramatically quitting the show after an explosive clash with Cyrell Paule on Tuesday night. 

He sensationally stormed out of the warehouse before collecting his belongings and checking out of his nearby hotel.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Mail Australia after his exit, Nasser said he’d come to blows with Cyrell after she demanded he apologise for things he’d said about her and other cast members in the press.  

‘She wanted me to me to apologise. She said I’m a troll. That I trolled her when she was pregnant. Which there’s no way I did,’ Nasser said. 

‘She said, “That’s my baby. That’s my unborn baby.” And she just like… she went off. It was like death in her eyes. She said, “You apologise.” I said, “Sure, I will apologise.”

‘Three times I tried to apologise. And she just kept at me, at me, at me. 

‘She stood over me, and I thought, “You know what? A man, to a woman… the best thing to do is walk out,” and I walked out, threw the microphone. I’ve packed my bags and I’m going home. I’m out of here. I’ve had enough.’ 

Meanwhile, Jessika Power also stormed out of the dinner party on Tuesday following an explosive argument with Cyrell.

At one point, things got so bad between Cyrell and Jessika that wine was tossed across the table and a water pitcher was almost thrown.
