Katie Price accused of flouting social-distancing rules

Katie Price insists she didn’t flout social-distancing rules after being called out by her angry followers for Instagram post

Katie Price was accused of breaking social-distancing rules on Wednesday by angered fans.

The former glamour model, 42, appeared to break the two-metre physical distancing rule as she posed for a photo alongside her partner Carl Woods, her daughter Princess and an alleged representative for menswear brand, Big Clothing 4 U.

She has applauded the company for providing suitable clothing sizes for her son Harvey, and previously shared her fears that her eldest son, 18, could pass away from coronavirus

That is why her decision to pose alongside the man- who is assumed to be outside of her bubble- shocked her Instagram followers, as one penned: ‘No social distancing but in the paper going “I fear for Harvey EVERYDAY with Covid”!!’

A concerned social media user wrote: ‘Social distance and wear a mask and meet outdoors.’

A third follower sarcastically responded: ‘Another one in “the family bubble”‘.

Katie captioned the image: ‘Great meeting with@bigclothing4u_ watch the space,’ and gave a thumbs up to the camera, leading fans to assume she is collaborating with the company.

Some fans subsequently praised the mother-of-five.

One follower responded on the Big Clothing 4 U Instagram page: ‘You listened!  I asked if you’d make Harvey’s law clothes… Deff keeping my eyes open.’

Another quipped: ‘Hope this has to do with clothes for younger adults who need them from bigger sizes ( x large – 15xl ) would be fab. Labels can be a problem too tho.’

MailOnline have contacted Katie’s representatives for comment, but during a recent discussion with The Mirror, her associate denied that Katie did anything wrong.

She said: ‘The gentleman in question featured in Katie’s post is someone that Katie has known for a long time and is part of hers and Harvey’s support bubble.

‘Katie has spoken of her concerns for Harvey’s safety and would never put her son at risk – adhering to Covid-19 regulations.’

The mother-of-five currently resides in a rental property in Surrey which falls under tier 2.

Under current guidelines, individuals are told not to socialise with anyone outside of their household or support bubble in any indoor setting. That includes at home or in a public location.
