‘We’ll be better in six minutes!’ Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield get into the festive spirit as they down champagne in boozy segment
They’ve never shied away from a mid-morning tipple.
So Holly Willoughby, 39, and Phillip Schofield, 58, couldn’t contain their excitement during Thursday’s This Morning as they enjoyed six glasses of champagne during a boozy festive segment.
The pair couldn’t contain their delight as they enjoyed a selection of sparkling wines before the clock had even struck noon, as they prepare to take a break from the show in the coming weeks due to the festive season.

For the segment Phillip and Holly were joined a wine expert to try an array of delicious fizzy beverages that were on offer during the festive season.
The pair beamed with delight as they sipped the drinks, joking that hopefully they could make it through the rest of the show.
Earlier in the show Phil also got into the festive spirit as he revealed his sequinned shirt collar and cuffs to match Holly, who has been sharing her own sparkly presenting looks on Instagram.

On Friday the duo are set to host This Morning’s first Christmas pantomime, with stars including Sheridan Smith, Joanna Lumley and Christopher Biggins.
The ‘mash-up’ will combine a collection of popular panto classics such as Dick Whittington, Jack and the Beanstalk, Peter Pan, Aladdin and Snow White – to name a few.
The main storyline will see Holly star as Cinderella as she attempts to attend the This Morning Ball with her best friend, Buttons, played by Phillip.

Presenters Eamonn Holmes and his wife Ruth Langsford will be playing Santa and Mrs Claus with new Friday host Alison Hammond the fairy godmother.
Fashion expert Lisa Snowdon will play Peter Pan’s Tinkerbell while Matthew Wright will star as Captain Hook.
Presenter Josie Gibson will perform as Snow White with Martin Lewis playing the Magic Mirror.
Other characters include chef Phil Vickery as Dame Susie the Sous Chef, Alice Beer as Goldilocks and agony aunts, Deidre Sanders and Vanessa Feltz, as the two wicked step-sisters.
This Morning’s Panto will air on Friday 11th December from 10am on ITV.
