Phoebe Burgess throws a Southern Highlands party for her son Billy’s second birthday

Phoebe Burgess was all smiles as she celebrated her son Billy’s second birthday on Wednesday. 

The former rugby league WAG threw a lavish picnic for the tot at her family’s sprawling Southern Highlands home.  

Posting to Instagram, the 31-year-old shared a series of images from the fun-filled birthday celebrations. 

In one image, Phoebe stunned in a tie-dyed dress and a sun hat as she hugged the birthday boy, who looked handsome in green shorts and a blue collared shirt. 

She then shared several snaps of her little boy celebrating with family members and a number of children. 

Phoebe also showed off her party decorating skills covering the table with fresh flowers and a red and white table cloth.  

But the main feature was the showstopping cake featuring Billy’s name on it along with several jungle animals.

Also thrilled to celebrate was Billy’s older sister Poppy, three, who looked adorable in a blue nautical themed dress and sunhat. 

Phoebe simply captioned the post with the number ‘2’ and a balloon emoji. 

Meanwhile, her ex-husband Sam shared his own tribute to Billy on Instagram explaining that he is the ‘purest form of life’. 

‘Happy 2nd Birthday son. You’re more than I could ever dream of… the purest form of life Xx,’ he captioned the post.  

Alongside the sweet caption, Sam shared a picture featuring the father and son enjoying their own celebration complete with a chocolate cake. 

Sam looked casual in a white singlet and shorts, while Billy was dressed in a grey shirt and yellow shorts. 

Phoebe and Sam share custody of their children Billy and Poppy.

The former couple married in 2015 at her parents’ country estate near Bowral, but separated in September last year.

Sam and Phoebe finalised their divorce in April this year.
