Michelle Bridges has had a challenging past 12 months, following a drink driving incident and split from partner Steve ‘Commando’ Willis.
But on Tuesday, the 50-year-old appeared to be in good spirits as she soaked up the sun while holidaying in Byron Bay with her four-year-old son Axel.
The personal trainer was accompanied by a male friend while they picked up coffees before strolling along the beach.

Following their stop at the cafe, Michelle bundled Axel into the car before they all headed to the beach for a stroll.

It comes after Michelle reflected on 2020 and admitted this year ‘has been tough but it’s also been a gift’.
‘Funny old year this one. So many people are saying “get outta here 2020!” And man this year,’ the former Biggest Loser trainer wrote on Instagram this month.
‘But if I dig deep. This year has been a gift. I now see everything I am grateful for. The lessons on how I wish to be treated and how I will not,’ she continued.
‘To love and love deeply those who stand firmly in my corner. And to be joyful, silly, inquisitive, kind, still, open, protective, believe and love.’
She also added: ‘Thank you 2020. It’s been tough. But I got the message.’

Michelle’s post comes after a challenging year, where she received a drink driving charge and split from partner Steve ‘Commando’ Willis in December 2019.
Michelle blew 0.086 when she was pulled over in her Range Rover with son Axel in the car about 11.25am on Australia Day in January 2020.
After she was charged on January 26, Michelle released a statement claiming she was going through a ‘very difficult time’ following her split from Steve, 43.
Michelle and Steve met while filming The Biggest Loser in 2007, at a time when they were both in relationships with other people.
They began dating in 2015, after splitting from their respective partners, and the pair welcomed son Axel in December that year.
