Influencer Ruby Tuesday Matthews appears downcast while doing the lighthouse walk in Byron Bay – after losing her grandfather and beloved dog within days

Byron Bay influencer Ruby Tuesday Matthews was spotted on Monday looking downcast and a little tense while stepping out in the coastal town. 

The 25-year-old and mother-of-two was seen in her activewear doing the popular lighthouse walk.

It comes after Ruby revealed she recently lost her grandfather and her dog, Lemmy, within days of one another.

Ruby cut a casual figure in a beige cotton crop top and high-waisted bike shorts.  

She teamed the look with beige runners and wore her long locks out and over her shoulders and went makeup free. 

At one point, Ruby appeared to take a phone call and chatted with her Apple AirPods in.

She shared a heartbreaking photo of her grandmother attending to his flower-filled coffin at their home and revealed how shattered she is. 

‘A few days after I lost my Pup Lemmy I lost my Poppa David,’ Ruby wrote on Instagram. 

‘I actually went numb and slightly on auto pilot. On the 30th of November we said goodbye at my family home.’

‘My Nanna is the strongest woman I know. I come from a family of extremely strong Women. Seeing her decorate his casket with every flower she grew from her beautiful garden made realise the power of love and family.’

She added in part of her post: ‘I don’t ever want to forget the love I felt that day with my family. So I’m sharing now. Rest In Peace Poppa.’

Last month, she also shared a sweet tribute to her dog Lemmy, who died. 

‘RIP Lemmy. I’m lost for words and completely shaken. We will all miss my baby.’
