Crazy Rich Asians star Henry Golding suffers a wipeout as he surfs massive waves in Santa Monica
He broke big as the clean-cut groom in 2018‘s smash hit Crazy Rich Asians.
But on Monday, actor Henry Golding sported a handlebar mustache and a soul patch on his face while out surfing the ocean waves in Santa Monica, California.
The Malaysian-born actor, 33, wore a full-body black wetsuit as he hung ten on his white surfboard, at one point wiping out spectacularly in the white sea surf.

Later on, Henry was seen making his way on the sidewalk, draped in a colorful striped poncho as he held his surfboard and walked along in black flip-flops.
The actor appeared in good spirits with a smile on his face.
He had an extra layer draped over his shoulders.

Golding has relatively few credits to his name thus far, with only two smaller films listed before Crazy Rich Asians.
Since then, he appeared as Blake Lively‘s husband in the complex mystery A Simple Favor, which was also released in 2018.
Last year, Henry was seen in three major releases, including Guy Ritchie’s The Gentleman as well as the holiday-themed romantic comedy Last Christmas opposite Emilia Clarke.

The third was a dramatic romance named Monsoon, in which Golding played a British Vietnamese man who returns to Saigon 30 years after the Vietnam War.

He is also providing his voice to the upcoming animated adventure film The Tiger’s Apprentice, due in 2023.

And on a personal note, Henry recently announced the happy news that he and his wife Liv Lo are expecting their first child.
He shared two snaps on November 5th – with one of him pointing at Liv’s growing baby bump.
