‘Probing journalist’ Lisa Wilkinson leaves Keith Urban red-faced on The Project after she asks the singer about his ‘date nights’ with Nicole Kidman
Lisa Wilkinson left Keith Urban red-faced during an interview on Tuesday’s episode of The Project.
The 60-year-old journalist couldn’t resist asking Keith about his relationship with his wife of 14 years, actress Nicole Kidman.
Lisa asked the 53-year-old musician how they manage to find alone time with their busy schedules.

‘Oh, we get on date night, don’t worry about that! No shortage of those nights,’ he laughed, before blushing and nodding his head.
But Lisa seemed unsatisfied with his response, telling Keith he still hadn’t answered the question, which prompted him to laugh uncomfortably.
After the interview ended, fellow panelist Waleed Aly couldn’t help but point out Lisa’s unwillingness to let go of the date night question.

‘I’m a probing journalist, Waleed. Have you not learnt that yet?’ she laughed.
The 42-year-old TV presenter then joked that ‘probing’ was an ‘odd choice of verb’ given the previous conversation.
The quip left his fellow panelists in hysterics as he wrapped up the episode, before cutting to the show’s credits.

He admitted he wasn’t sure she’d say yes to the song, comparing it to ‘buying some clothing for somebody for their birthday’.
‘I really loved the song, and in my head, I could hear Pink singing it. It was just a big fingers crossed moment that she would love it as much as I hoped she would, and she hit me back immediately that she wanted to do it,’ he explained.
