The Kyle and Jackie O Show is still enjoying enormous success after 20 years on the air.
According to Radio Today, the KIIS FM show finished as the No. 1 Sydney FM breakfast program of 2020, with an impressive 11.3 per cent audience share, up from 10.7 per cent.
Their nearest competition was Nova’s Smoothfm, which had a 7.9 per cent share, down from 8.5 per cent.

Over in Melbourne, Gold FM’s Christian O’Connell had the No. 1 FM breakfast show, while Nova’s Ash, Kip & Luttsy with Susie O’Neill took out the top spot in Brisbane.

The renowned hosts first teamed up in 2000, and they’re still going strong two decades later.
‘You’d think after 20 years together we’d be sick of each other! But when you get to work with your best mate every day it’s not considered a job,’ Jackie, 45, said.

Jackie spoke more about her working relationship and real-life friendship with Kyle, 49, in a 60 Minutes interview that aired in May.
‘He’s not a boring person, and I’m grateful for that. And, yes, he annoys me, because he says things that I wouldn’t say, but overall, he’s a really great person and I love working with him, and I find him very, very funny,’ she said.
But Jackie admitted she gets annoyed whenever Kyle calls in sick for work, which tends to be often.

‘I just want him to take care of himself,’ she said simply, confessing that the producers on The Kyle and Jackie O Show bring him a Kit Kat chocolate bar whenever he’s in a bad mood.
Speaking at the Radio Alive conference in Brisbane in October last year, Kyle revealed he was instantly attracted to Jackie when he first met her.
‘I thought she was f**kable,’ he said, according to The Daily Telegraph.
‘He’s not a boring person, and I’m grateful for that. And, yes, he annoys me, because he says things that I wouldn’t say, but overall, he’s a really great person,’ Jackie told 60 Minutes of Kyle
Kyle later confessed that he still found his co-host to be very attractive.
‘She is f**kable… was and is,’ he clarified.
