Countess of cookery! Sophie Wessex dons an apron and face mask as she’s joined by Prince Edward to help community centre volunteers prepare meals

Prince Edward and his wife Sophie Wessex donned matching aprons as they took part in a cooking class with volunteers in Guildford today.
The Earl, 56, and Countess of Wessex, 55, who put safety first by wearing face masks and gloves, helped with a meal prepping session for charity FoodWise at the Moorcroft Community Centre.
During the visit, the royals chopped carrots and assisted other volunteers in preparing meals that will be delivered to 300 local families in Woking and Guildford.
FoodWise, which usually offers budget cooking class to teach families to cook healthily on a budget, changed their approach in March and have been offering food to families in need during the coronavirus pandemic.

The Countess, who took part in a baking class last week, opted to wear a white knitted sweater for the occasion, and added a pop of colour with a floral printed face mask.
Sophie tied her blonde locks back into a neat ponytail complete with black scrunchie, and kept her makeup minimal – opting for an ochre shade of eyeshadow and mascara.
Meanwhile, Prince Edward appeared to be getting into the Christmas spirit early, , opting for a vibrant red sweater, which coordinated with his festive tartan face covering.
FoodWise is a charity that usually offer cheap cooking classes to family to promote healthy eating on a budget.
However, in the wake of the Covid-19 crisis in March, they decided to help families that were struggling financially or self-isolating by providing them with meals.
Both royals were wearing face coverings and gloves during the event for FoodWise, a charity which delivers 30,000 meals to 300 local families in Guildford and Woking
Now, several months in, the charity is producing 30,000 meals for 300 local families thanks to the help of volunteers.
Sophie Wessex has been doing a lot of cooking for charity lately, having taken part in a flapjack bake-off to mark International Day of People With Disability on December 3.
The mother-of-two headed to the Disability Initiative (DI) resource centre in Camberley for the occasion.
Dressed in a chic black outfit, the Countess, who started the day by backing flapjacks, met beneficiaries of the centre and made Christmas decorations during the rest of her visit.
Every member of staff, resident and even the mother-of-two herself were wearing masks during the charity visit, of which Sophie is the patron.
