MAFS star Davina Rankin reveals she’s facing a personal dilemma about having more children

Married At First Sight star Davina Rankin welcomed her first child – daughter Mila-Mae – in November, 2019. 

But since becoming a mother, the former TV bride has found herself questioning her preconceived views on parenting and building a family. 

Sharing her personal dilemma with fans on Sunday, Davina admitted she was unsure whether she should have more children.  

Residing in Brisbane, Davina shares one-year-old Mila-Mae with fiancé, Jaxon Manuel.

Davina, 29, was reflecting on a perfect weekend away with her family when she decided to discuss her recent dilemma.   

‘I really have never been overly interested in having anymore than one child. To me, our family is more than complete with just Mila-Mae,’ she began.

However, Davina went on to add: ‘⁣But after watching her have so much fun with her cousins all weekend and even just watching how much she learns everyday from being around other kids, it actually made me feel a little bad for her to come home to play in her playpen all by herself.’

She asked her followers to weigh in, writing: ‘⁣Is it fair to say that when you’re an only child, you’re fine with having only one?⁣ ⁣But when you come from a bigger family, siblings are a must? ‘ 

Davina and Jaxon met years before her time on Nine’s controversial dating experiment, but rekindled their romance after her season of MAFS aired. 

Davina outraged viewers in 2017 when she ‘cheated’ on her TV husband Ryan Gallagher with Dean Wells on Married At First Sight.

However, she’s kept out of trouble since the show ended while many of her former co-stars have been plagued by scandal.

The model and entrepreneur has since claimed that her villainous portrayal on the show was a mixture of bad editing and producer interference.

‘To be honest, MAFS is just a load of bulls**t, it’s not this pretty little fairy tale that the public thinks it is,’ she said in an interview with Daily Mail Australia last year.
