The Wiggles’ Simon Pryce reveals co-star Lachy Gillespie ‘has never been more tired’ after welcoming his twins with Dana Stephensen

The Wiggles star Lachy Gillespie is having his fair share of sleepless nights since becoming a father to twins. 

Speaking to New Idea magazine on Monday, Lachy’s co-star Simon Pryce said fatherhood has changed the children’s performer, and while he may be ‘tired’, he’s never been happier.  

‘Lachy has twins now and I have never seen him more tired,’ Simon said.

‘He’s really happy and the girls are doing really well and everyone is healthy.’ 

Lachlan welcomed his twin girls, Lulu and Lottie, with fellow Wiggles star Dana Stephensen in September. 

Lachlan and Dana started dating following Lachie’s shock split from co-star, Emma Watkins.

Meanwhile, Simon is expecting a baby boy with his partner Lauren Hannaford. 

He said he is nervous about the prospect of his bundle of joy coming early. 

‘Everywhere we go, we hear: ”My child came six weeks early”,’ he said. ‘We haven’t got time for that. He needs to stay in there until January.’   

Last month, Simon and Lauren announced they were expecting a baby boy in a heartwarming gender reveal Instagram post.

And the couple cut through a cupcake, before they saw that the inside was blue – meaning they are having a boy.

The delighted duo could not keep their smiles off their faces, hugging and kissing once the results were revealed.  

The happy couple announced they’re expecting their first child on Father’s Day, back in September.

‘Lauren and I are beyond excited and overjoyed to be expecting our first baby in early 2021,’ Simon wrote on Instagram.

‘I already feel like I’m bursting with love. I think Lauren will be happy when it’s born so I stop talking to her stomach, especially when we are in the supermarket aisle.’

He concluded by adding: ‘Happy Father’s Day to me. Well not quite yet but soon. #BabyPryce #2021’.
