Sam Burgess was enjoying some quality daddy and daughter time on Monday.
The former NRL star took his little girl, Poppy, three, to Coogee beach to cool off in the 30 degree heat on what was a steamy Sydney day.
The 31-year-old stripped off his grey tank top to reveal his formidable muscles as he accompanied Poppy to the shore.

The tot looked delighted as she jumped about in the shallows, her attentive father sticking close by.
After Poppy had a splash on in the water, Sam led her by the hand through the throng of beach goers.
The sighting comes as Sam’s ex wife, Phoebe Burgess, 31, recovers from back surgery.

On Sunday, Phoebe shared a photo to Instagram Stories of herself relaxing at home after her day surgery.
‘It’s day two following yet another procedure to get some relief from the muscle spasms associated with spinal injuries (in time for the heavy lifting of holiday season),’ she wrote.
‘Thought I’d share mum’s roses brightening up the view on my camera roll while I sneak in some major rest and recover.’

She also shared a photo of herself in her hospital bed, wearing scrubs and a hair net.
‘Day surgery Saturday,’ she captioned the smiling selfie.
Phoebe has previously spoken about her battle with chronic back pain, which began with a skiing accident in 2012 that ‘changed her spine forever’.
Sam meanwhile has reportedly set up camp in Bowral, NSW to spend more time with his two young children.

According to The Daily Telegraph, the former footballer now has a secondary home in the Southern Highlands town, where he spends up to ‘three days a week’ with his son Billy, one, and daughter Poppy.
It’s understood that Sam’s primary home is still in Sydney, where he remained after selling the Maroubra home he shared with ex-wife Phoebe for almost $5million in January.
Bowral is Phoebe and the children’s full-time home, with the trio currently living with her parents.

Sam shares custody of his son and daughter Poppy – who turns four in January – with his ex-wife.
The former couple married in 2015 at her parents’ country estate near Bowral, but separated in September last year.
Sam and Phoebe finalised their divorce in April this year.
At the time, The Daily Telegraph reported that Phoebe had walked away with 70 per cent of the former couple’s marital wealth.

Sam is accused of intimidating the father of his ex-wife at the 64-year-old’s Southern Highlands home in October last year.
The Rabbitohs player is also charged with common assault in relation to the same alleged incident involving his father-in-law Mitchell Hooke.
Sam has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Police have also taken out an interim AVO to allegedly protect Mr Hooke from Burgess, who has had no contact with his former father-in-law for more than a year.
The charges and the AVO stem from an alleged October 2019 incident at the Hookes’ estate.
