Temperatures were unseasonably high for weather woman Laura Tobin on Monday morning after a wardrobe malfunction left her red-faced as she conducted the weekly forecast.
While Brits will be forced to endure a dip in temperature over coming days, Laura was left hot under collar after forgetting to remove the price tag from her festive sweater before appearing on the latest edition of Good Morning Britain.
The gaffe was immediately spotted by eagle-eyed viewers as the 39-year old turned to face her interactive map of the world and its grim looking prediction for the week ahead.

Taking to Twitter, one amused fan wrote: ‘Laura Tobin you need to take the tag off yr jumper. Very festive though.’
Commenting on the sweater – which featured the single word ‘Twinkle’ across the chest – another carped: ‘Are you planning on returning that jumper?’
While a third urged: ‘@GMB please tell the weather lady Laura she has a sale ticket hanging from the back of her ‘twinkle’ jumper.’

Elsewhere a fourth referenced England’s misty weather, adding: ‘It’s so foggy out there Laura couldn’t see her price tag label on her Xmas jumper.’
Aware of the inadvertent social media furore her oversight had caused, Laura addressed the incident after returning for a weather roundup later that morning.
‘Before we got on with the weather, just to address a fashion faux pas,’ she said, lifting her hair to reveal the tag had since been removed.

‘Now, I can show you it’s gone now. I think it’s a borrowed one. I’m meant to be sending it back, that’s why the label is still in there.
‘So that’s all sorted – all my Twitter feed is full of that, not the other stuff we’re talking about this morning.’
The incident comes just weeks after Good Morning Britain co-host Piers Morgan jokingly accused Laura of ‘wandering around like she’s in a bikini competition’ due to the short length of her skirt.
Piers poked fun at the mother-of-one as he claimed her appearance was down to the weather outside, despite temperatures reaching just 14 degrees Celsius in London in November.
Speaking to Andi Peters – who hosted an ITV competition outdoors – he joked: ‘It’s actually warm outside! And I know it’s unseasonably warm because Laura’s wandering around like she’s in a bikini competition.’
