Hannah Spearritt has revealed that she’s welcomed a baby girl after keeping her pregnancy a secret.

The S Club 7 singer, 39, and partner Adam Thomas announced the birth of their second daughter on Sunday. 

The happy couple, who are also parents to two-year-old Taya, told fans that they have named their newest addition Tora.

Speaking with HELLO!, Hannah said: ‘Once Taya was called Taya I think we had found our vibe and flow! [Tora] means tiger, she’s not quite living up to the name yet [looking at the sleeping baby]’

Adam then added that the little girl’s name also means ‘goddess and thunder, the female of Thor.’

Hannah also talked about how it’s been having two under two, she said: ‘We always wanted more than one so it made sense to have another one as quickly as possible.

‘We have been lucky, my mum and a lot of help, it’s been wonderful.’

And although still adjusting to life as a big sister, Taya has already taken to her new sibling with her proud parents saying there hasn’t been ‘any signs of jealousy yet’.     

After welcoming their first daughter back in 2018, Hannah discussed their like for unusual names and said they’d  considered combining their surnames for a name.

They told HELLO!: ‘Her name is a bit of a mouthful. We tried to see if we could combine our names and we came up with “Spearas”, but it didn’t sound right!’ 

Hannah also emotionally shared her heartbreaking journey to have a baby, revealing that she’d previously had two miscarriages.

She said: ‘I had one a few years previously with another partner. They both happened early on in the pregnancies, around the five-week mark.  

Hannah and Adam briefly split following her miscarriage in 2014, before reuniting a few months later.

The singer rose to fame in 1999 with her band, S Club 7, who split a few years later in 2003, with a brief reunion in 2014.
