Vernon Kay has suggested that Giovanna Fletcher would be the ‘perfect’ person to become a British Oprah Winfrey like figure.
The I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star, 46, explained how the show’s winner, 35, is incredible at listening and then offering a wise comment, reports The Sun.
When asked if she could be like the American talk show host, Vernon replied: ‘She would be perfect for that role because she’s so bright and intelligent.’

Discussing how the Queen of the Castle helped her fellow campmates during their three-week stint at Gwrych Castle in Wales, Vernon praised her listening skills.
He said: ‘When you talk to Giovanna about anything emotional, anything personal, she’s such a strong woman that she sits and listens.
‘She doesn’t butt in, she lets you reel off what you’re feeling. When she knows you’re finished, then she comes back with a comment.’
Vernon also credited Giovanna’s strength as coming from her family, saying she and husband Tom, who share three sons, are a ‘tight unit’.

The TV presenter also discussed how excited he was to be reunited with his own family, after not seeing wife Tess Daly since October.
Ahead of going into the I’m A Celeb camp for three weeks Vernon also had to isolate for two weeks due to coronavirus rules.
And as for his plans now the hit ITV show has ended, Vernon said he intends to put back on the two and a half stone he has lost and then look to new projects.
He added that he, Tess, and their girls Phoebe and Amber, will be soaking up the time together and putting their Christmas tree up with a few glasses of champagne expected to be consumed.

As for work post-camp, Vernon revealed that he would love to work alongside his wife just like they did on singing show Just the Two of Us back in 2006.
It comes after Vernon was pining for his wife as he watched her host Strictly Come Dancing on Saturday evening.
The All Star Family Fortunes presenter shared a photo of his wife, 51, as she appeared on Strictly and he asked her to ‘hurry home’.
Alongside the snap of Tess, with Craig Revel Horwood in the background, Vernon wrote: ‘Hurry home @tessdaly !! @bbcstrictly what a show, @craigrevel you’re welcome too!! (So good to be dust and smoke free! No Rice and Beans!!!!)’.

In a sweet snap the author, 35, could be seen cradling her youngest son in her arms as Buzz and Buddy jumped with joy around her, before they too came in for a cuddle.
In a lengthy caption, Giovanna told her followers: ‘Mumma Gi here and I’m thrilled to say I’m home with my boys and Tom and soaking up all the kisses and cuddles I’ve missed.
