In the sweet snap, she adopted her signature glamour in an understated black jacket and white vest after getting ready for a post-lockdown evening out.

Shelby opted for a bronzed make-up look and a slick of red lipstick, while she styled her brunette tresses in a glossy straight fashion across her shoulders.

The new mother also wore an elegant silver necklace with a pendant in the shape of the letter ‘A’, which seemed to be a touching tribute to her son.

And Abel hilariously could not keep his eyes off his mother, with Shelby explaining that the little boy was ‘amazed’ after seeing her wear make-up for the first time.

Last month, the reality star shared a selfie of her lovingly cradling her son Abel Ashley in her arms with her 466,000 Instagram followers.

An exhausted Shelby looked adorable in a set of baby pink button-up pyjamas with the word ‘Mummy’ stitched on to them as she relaxed on her cream velvet sofa.

She flashed a smile at the camera as she cuddled Abel while he blissfully napped in a onesie under a blue blanket after the mother and son were finally able to return home.

But giving birth to her son was not easy, as Shelby had to be readmitted to hospital with pre-eclampsia soon after welcoming Abel.

In a lengthy statement to her fans, she revealed that she was ‘not having an easy ride’ and was ‘taking so many different medications and vitamins’.

She wrote: ‘To every single person that has messaged me and are continuing to: family, friends and all you lovely people thank you so much I am soooo overwhelmed by all the love, support and kindness.

‘It’s really made me feel so special. It’s so difficult for me to respond to everyone individually it would take me too long to reply to you all but just know I’ve read and I am grateful for every single message sent to me.

Pre-eclampsia is a pregnancy complication that causes high blood pressure, which can be deadly for both a woman and her unborn baby if untreated, and can begin from around 20 weeks into the pregnancy.

The best solution is usually an early birth via C-section, which isn’t always an ideal option if the baby is premature.

Symptoms include headaches, blurred vision, abdominal pain, vomiting and shortness of breath.

It usually begins in the placenta, when its blood vessels narrow and do not react to hormones properly, reducing the amount of blood that flows through the body.
