Lori Loughlin’s daughter Olivia Jade goes shopping in LA while her parents serve out jail sentences

Lori Loughlin’s daughter Olivia Jade Giannulli seems to be keeping herself distracted amid her family’s high profile legal struggle.

On Friday the 21-year-old Youtuber was flying solo as she went shopping in Los Angeles, despite her parents’ current jail sentencing after pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud in the college admissions scandal.

With Loughlin currently serving two months in prison and fashion designer father Mossimo Giannulli sentenced to five in September, Olivia opted for some retail therapy to cope with her struggles.

Dressed down in a pair of stretchy black pants and an oversized sweater, Giannulli carried a furry purple purse as she browsed in a few stores.

The lookalike daughter of the Full House actress kept her face protected in a beige face mask and threw on a comfortable pair of Nikes for the outing.

After making a few stops Olivia was seen getting into her black SUV while showing a hint of tummy in a white crop top after tying her cardigan around her neck.

With Los Angeles currently in a strict second stay-home lockdown amid 430,583 total cases and nearly 9,000 new cases alone on Friday, retail shops have limited their capacity for the next few weeks in an effort to slow the spread.

Finding herself at the heart of the ‘Varsity Blues’ college admissions scandal in 2019 – after her parents were found guilty of paying $500K in bribes to get she and sister Isabella, 22, admitted to USC as part of the rowing team (despite having no experience) – the Youtuber has had a tough year.

After being sentenced in August, Loughlin was ordered to pay an $150,000 fine and ordered to do 150 hours of community service and Mossimo was slammed with a $250,000 fine and 250 hours of service.

‘I went along with a plan to give my daughters an unfair advantage in the college admissions process. In doing so, I ignored my intuition and allowed myself to be swayed from my moral compass,’ Loughlin said at the time of her sentencing.

Despite Olivia sharing in one of her since-deleted videos that she never wanted to go to college as she said, ‘I don’t really care about school, as you guys all know,’ to her nearly 2M subscribers, her parents had other plans which ultimately bit them in the bum.

In a 2019 interview on The Zach Sang Show, Olivia revealed, ‘mostly my parents really wanted me to go because both of them didn’t go to college,’ while saying she took interest in the parties and social scene at the ritzy southern California school.

Despite getting into the prestigious university, Olivia dropped out in the spring of 2019 amid the brewing bribery scandal which was dubbed the largest admissions scandal ever prosecuted.

A source told ET in August 2019 that she had no plans to return to USC and instead wanted to focus on building her business.

‘Olivia has no plans to return to USC. She never wanted to attend USC to begin with, and now she is sure that USC isn’t the place for her,’ the source said, adding that her goal was to ‘rebuild her brand and her business.’

Previously attaining influencer status and even boasting her own Sephora line, the driven daughter of her now disgraced parents seems committed to making a name for herself despite what is sure to be an uphill battle.
