Sheridan opted for a fun filter of a straw hat, blonde waves and pink sunglasses as she put on an animated display to the camera.

The award-winning actress then panned the camera onto a reclining Jamie, who grinned while wearing his baseball hat back to front.

Sheridan, who was recently doing press for her new show Pooch Perfect, captioned the video with: ‘Out with the fella!’ followed by a heart emoji.

The star also asked her fans if they knew of anyone who could provide Christmas decorations to make her son Billy’s, seven months, first Christmas extra special.

The much-loved classic, formerly hosted by Matthew Kelly, is set to return to ITV, with a revamped celebrity judging panel, and according to reports, the actress is set to take the helm.

The role would be Sheridan’s first major TV gig since she welcomed her baby son Billy with fiancé Jamie in May.

The talent show, which last aired in December 2006, sees members of the public undergo an impressive transformation, before coming out to impersonate their favourite singers.

The new version is set to be renamed as Starstruck and filming kicks off in May 2021.

The series was initially set to get underway this year, but thanks to the coronavirus pandemic, filming has been delayed and the show is not expected to air until the autumn.

A source told The Sun: ‘Starstruck is a new take on telly classic Stars In Their Eyes and will see the public living out their dreams on stage as their idols.

‘Sheridan is the perfect fit for the show as one of the judges. Her job will be to critique the acts and then give them advice after they have performed.’

They continued: ‘Along with being a fantastic actress, Sheridan is a talented singer and after playing Cilla Black in the ITV show about her life, she knows a thing or two about impersonating amazing singers.’

MailOnline have contacted representatives of Sheridan Smith and ITV for comment.
