And the eight-time Grammy winner is enjoying some quality family time, amid a local ‘safer at home’ order.
On Wednesday, he sweetly carried newborn daughter Sovereign Bo in a cloud-print baby björn, during a family hike with Goicoechea through Griffith Park in Los Angeles.

The 42-year-old donned a black t-shirt with matching sweatpants and neon green and orange kicks, with a black face mask and matching protective gloves.
Baby Sovereign’s head could be seen peeking out above the carrier, as her adorable legs dangled out in a tiny pair of Nike high tops.
Goicoechea, 37, sported a black sweatshirt with matching leggings, a pair of grey trainers and a black face mask.
They announced the birth of their daughter in late September, just weeks after confirming they were expecting a new addition.

Usher posted a photo to Instagram of her tiny hand holding his finger, writing: ‘We are feeling blessed and full of love with the arrival of our beautiful baby girl, Sovereign Bo Raymond. “Isn’t She lovely” by Stevie Wonder on repeat.’
He said on Good Morning America earlier that month: ‘Babies always bring such joy to a family and [I’m] really, really excited for my young one.’
The Confessions artist has since revealed that she came earlier than expected, as he posted the first photo of her to Instagram.
He wrote last month: ‘Happy 11:11 Sovereign … today was the day I thought you would arrive. You had a different plan … #Babyknowsbest #Godsplan “Life happens when you’re making other plans.”
‘Is the present a gift or is the present the day? Live every moment. I love what we have, and what made @boogsneffect Te amo mucho.’
Usher also told Ellen DeGeneres: ‘It’s funny because the umbilical cord was wrapped around her wrists. So she’s pulling the thing, like, “Pull me outta here, it’s time to go!”‘
He was first seen with Goicoechea last fall, as they put on a cozy display backstage at Hollywood Bowl.
