A pair of adventurous baby twins gave their father an impromptu workout by taking it in turns to play runaway as he chased after them.
Daz Hocking was at home in Plymouth, Devon, with fiancée Sarah Phillips when their one-year-old son Charles escaped out of their living room door through an open baby gate.
Hilarious footage shows the 50-year-old father giving chase and bringing the tot back in – only to be left shouting in exasperation as twin brother William follows suit and crawls out of the room.
Turning tail to grab William, pastoral support worker Daz was once again overtaken by Charles who scooted past on his knees and down the laminate flooring in their hall.

The clip becomes a Benny Hill-esque chase as no sooner has Daz returned with one baby than the other has already absconded.
Carrying his kids back in one by one, each boy can be heard giggling wildly to themselves as they travel out of sight and down the corridor.
Finally Daz jogged after one of the boys and grabbed him before he trotted back into the living room and out of breath and plonked him down next to his brother.
The father-of-two is left visibly panting for breath and only manages to stop the farce once he closes the baby gate behind him – leaving Sarah, 36, in hysterics.

Daz said: ‘It was a great impromptu workout. The pair of them certainly keep me on my toes, even on a Friday evening. In a good way though, they’re just good fun.
‘Normally the gate would have been closed but this time they kept crawling around. They were making the most of their bid for freedom.
‘They kept trying to get around me for three minutes. If I hadn’t have closed the gates, I think they’d have kept crawling away.

‘They sleep for 12 hours a night all the way through. It’s because they’re getting in so much distance during the day. It allows us to get our energy back too.
‘Because of lockdown, they’ve been able to spend a lot of time on the floor, especially because we haven’t been able to get out and about as much.
‘They started crawling at around six months old and have not stopped since. They’re always on the move now. They’re starting to walk but they have to hold on to things. We’re not too far away from chaos.’

Sarah said: ‘They are getting more and more mischievous. They’re climbing everywhere now.
‘Charles is the leader and instigator. William will follow him everywhere. Charles is always getting him into trouble.
‘We’ve had to move the guard from in front of the fire as they were trying to get up there. We’ve also moved our fish tank too as they were trying to get in there.’
