Mark Consuelos celebrated the last month of 2020 by getting some unique new ink on his bicep.

The 49-year-old actor and husband of Kelly Ripa took to Instagram on Tuesday to show off the tattoo.

He also tagged Kaiju Ink, a tattoo artist based in Vancouver, where Consuelos has been since September, filming the new season of Riverdale.

The actor shared a black-and-white snap of the tattoo, showcasing a skeleton wearing a sombrero, seemingly on the run from something.

The skeleton is seen running away while pointing a revolver behind him, while holding a pocket watch of some sort.

Consuelos didn’t reveal the inspiration behind this new tattoo, or what significance it held to his social media followers quite yet.

Consuelos has been away from his wife of 24 years, Kelly Ripa, for the past few months, as he returns to play Hiram Lodge on the new season of Riverdale.

The actor has been sharing throwback snaps, including a Halloween shot of the happy couple.

One message at the end of September was captioned, ‘1 month down…3 to go….missing my home team,’ indicating he’ll be done filming Riverdale in December.

Consuelos and Ripa met in 1995 when they were both starring on the long-running soap opera All My Children.

The couple eloped in May 1996 and share three children together, Michael Joseph, 23, Lola Grace, 19 and Joaquin Antonio, 17.

They also made headlines back in September for their generosity, providing scholarships for 20 homeless teenagers in New York City.

The couple donated laptops and scholarships valued at $2,000 each for 20 students attending college in the Big Apple this fall.

The donation was made in partnership with the Win foundation in New York, which ‘provides safe housing and critical services to help homeless women and their children rebuild their lives and break the cycle of homelessness.’

‘Mark and I are so excited to help these students in whatever small way we can. Starting college is a pivotal moment for so many and being a part of this time is really special for our family. We know each of these scholarship recipients has a bright future ahead and we can’t wait to see what amazing things they accomplish!’ Ripa said.
